Intertraffic, the world’s largest urban mobility event, held in Amsterdam, Holland, made room for the company from Paraná, Mobilis, which was the only Brazilian representative in the 2022 edition.
Attending Intertraffic for the fifth time in a row (the other three were held in Mexico City), Mobilis highlighted its important work in Latin America and Brazil, where it contributes to a 60% reduction in the number of fatalities and a 30% reduction in the number of accidents with the solutions developed, applied and monitored by the company. “We work with cutting-edge technology, adapting everything we develop to the reality of our clients. Large cities, municipalities with smaller fleets, toll plazas, public and private clients. We have customized solutions for any location seeking to ensure safer traffic. And it was some of this work that we presented at this edition of Intertraffic,” says Régis Nishimoto, technical director.
In the Netherlands, Mobilis demonstrated two of the devices and one of the systems in the portfolio. “We invest our human and financial resources in developing and improving the latest developments in the traffic market. Whether in Brazil or in any country in Europe or the world, our products, systems and services help not only public managers, but also drivers, pedestrians and society as a whole to enjoy greater safety and quality of life,” explains the company’s Development Manager, Adriel Silva.
At Intertraffic Amsterdam 2022, Mobilis demonstrated that the applications of the company’s enforcement devices go beyond measuring speed, highlighting all the functionalities of FlexITS and SafeITS, such as red light running, stopping at crosswalks, driving on exclusive lanes, evading tolls, complying with rotation, prohibited turns and returns, weighing on the move, volumetric counting of vehicles for statistical data, among others. “Our proposal at Intertraffic was to present all the business’s differentials, with the figures and results we have achieved. We also made it possible for visitors to see how our Image Processing Center is monitored, from a track set up inside the stand,” says Nishimoto. “We return home happy and certain that we have done an excellent job in valuing our brand and Brazilian technology, which saves millions of lives every year,” he concludes.
